Do you panic every time your manager says "got a minute?"
Does your heart stop when you see a meeting with HR on your calendar?
Don't worry; you're not alone. Many badass, incredibly talented women (like YOU!) find themselves in this situation at some point in their career. And I get it because I've been there.
The Confidence Crisis
It's no secret that women, despite their talents and skills, frequently find themselves battling a crisis of confidence. It usually sounds like:
Imposter Syndrome: Feeling like you don't deserve your achievements, or that you're somehow a fraud in your role. I also call this your inner mean girl. Think back to the time in your life when you were the most toxic. The most ruthless. That's your inner mean girl. And if you're like most of us, she shows up regularly in your thoughts. She says things like:
"there are other people who do this that are WAY better at it than you"
"why would anyone listen to YOU?"
"whatever you're doing... it's not good enough."
"everyone is thinking that you're a complete idiot."
Yeah, she's relentless and absolutely out to make sure you don't step into confidence. And she thrives when you're...
Not getting recognition you deserve: Not getting the acknowledgment you deserve for your hard work and accomplishments while you watch those around you get accolades for doing the absolute bare minimum. Like, huh??
Neck deep in workplace bureaucracy and bullshit: Navigating workplace politics, biases, and stereotypes have left you exhausted. And numb. You don't speak up anymore because, what's the point? You try to compartmentalize but sometimes you lose your shit because you can't take it anymore.
Balancing anything and everything at all times: You're a parent. A caregiver. A friend. A socialite. A homebody hat needs time to recharge. And you work. Managing all of those titles, plus all the other dozens of titles you carry is impossible. This work world was not built for parents, but we keep piling more on. And the more we pile on, the less confidence we have because we constantly remind ourselves how badly we are "failing" in every title.
I'm on a personal mission to provide practical solutions to the confidence crisis faced women in the workplace. I'm the mirror that needs to be held up to remind you who are, where you're going, and how much power exists in remembering that.
I offer one-on-one coaching sessions with professionals at all levels. I work with you to identify your strengths, set achievable goals, and develop strategies to overcome self-doubt, rebuild confidence, to shut-up that inner mean girl.
